Re: In Game: at St. Joe's

No iron from 3 feet.

Muscled underneath for board and they get up by 7.

Outscored 16-4 in first five minutes of second half.

Down 10 now.

Re: In Game: at St. Joe's

Love the layups from sprinting the floor. Brings back wonderful memories of Thomas Sander. --- Another layup that doesn't hit iron. Should be a clue. Not prudent. --- Hint -- when they are leaning on you and shoving you all the way from the block to the free throw line because you are standing strai...

Re: In Game: at St. Joe's

Some of our turnovers don't even make any sense. How do you forget to bring the ball along with you when dribbling in for a layup? -- Another pass directly to them. -- More missed layups. And the game is tied. And now trailing. :? We work hard, build a lead, and then just piss it away with sil...

Re: In Game: at St. Joe's

Pick up dribble for no reason. Leads to turnover. Small thing. Need to get it fixed.

Announcer is sure that St Joes leads the league in blown layups. Obviously, he is not following the Cats.
I suspect a lot of viewers had that thought.

Re: In Game: at St. Joe's

A lot of good so far. Cutting hard. Seeing the floor. Making the pass.

But we shoot a ton of really ugly, off-balance prayers from 3 feet that have no chance of going in. When you can't draw iron from three feet, you shouldn't have shot the ball. Not unless the shot clock was at :01.

Re: In Game: vs UMASS

Our past 3 point shooting hid a lot of these problems. 14% from 3 doesn't hide anything, it exposes all. Hats off to Kochera's play down the stretch. I still think that was a blocking foul when the ball went off of his foot. he played hard and well. Would have helped to protect the ball with his bo...

Re: In Game: vs UMASS

I was bothered by the lack of intensity early. When UMass broke an early tie with a run to get up 16-10 (IIRC) there was a turnover up top. Poor pass decision because recipient hadn't done the work to get open and offer a target (some knee bend would have been nice). We pass it anyway and the ball g...

Re: In Game: vs UMASS

Grant with 2 horrible decisions and everyone thinking 3 when we need 2. Got to be smarter. Bad decisions have been a trend. Like our whole team missing free throws in crunch time. And then Conner, who has played great, loses the ball because he violates one of the most basic fundamentals. Keep your...

Re: In Game: at Richmond

Grant goes brain dead. Again. No excuse. Can't make that play. Just can't. The play was legal so not sure why you “can’t make that play.” Hand to hand contact is legal. King kicked his leg out, which is an offensive foul, if anything is to be called. And if Grant hadn’t closed out hard and king mak...

Dalton Knect went Ernie Graham tonight

Dalton Knect took over the game vs Auburn tonight in scoring 39. Vols game him the ball and got out of the way. Tigers were so frustrated trying to stop him they ended up triple teaming him at times. He might get the Wooden. He reminded me of Ernie Graham for Maryland in Jan 1979 against the #1 rank...

No one in my family could video me watching Davidson play on tv. My wife makes me watch DU games by myself in a room with the door closed.
