Re: Up next: at SBU

CorpulentCat is pretty close to echoing my sentiments. I'm remembering bad games. The other that stands out for me is the time Everett Case brought his NC State Hoosiers to play in old alumni gym. It was a slaughter, but still bright spots because we had some guys who were'n't all that bad, just not...

Re: Recruiting / Kool Aid

I just read through the NCAA news release about winter sports athletes being given an extra year of eligibility and an extra year in which to complete it. There was no mention of the number limits on scholarships in sports. Since that purported 2021-2022 roster includes 13 scholarship players I'm gu...

Re: Recruiting / Kool Aid

The Aussie's had excellent perimeter passing: quick and accurate. Well coached on both ends, it seemed. -------------------- Here is next season's scholarship roster: https://davidsoncats.com/templates/subSilver/images/21-22rosterfinal.png Nice. With winter sports getting an extra year of eligibili...

Re: Recruiting / Kool Aid

I checked last year's stats. Nine players averaged more that 20 minutes.

Re: Recruiting / Kool Aid

I'm not very well versed in women's basketball, but judging from the limited video clips, it appears to me that Mallorie and Issy are the same size and have very similar games. They also both have skills to be starters and perhaps stars. Since they are also in the same class, there won't be any "he...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

So, back to the original purpose of this thread, as Waitress set it up , we should try to provide an update every 5 pages or so. As Waitress detailed, previously: The Kool-Aid list reflects publicly available sources, typically internet recruiting or social media sites (e.g., Rivals.com, Verbalcomm...

Re: Recruiting / Kool Aid

Great news! Very excited to see her play. Do we have any idea how many other scholarships are open for 2021 that we may still be looking to recruit for? Six players on the 20-21 roster are listed as seniors, including Andrea. That's six on a squad of 14. One guess is that we have a total of five sc...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

For those who aren’t into crossword puzzles: https://twitter.com/phenomexposure/status/1141792703681835009?s=21 That is great. I wasn't aware of the offer. He was at the recent scrimmage and, obviously, has made an impression. He looked pretty good playing on a pickuup team with Peyton, JAG and Car...

Here's a Cameron highlight from yesterday's All-star Classic. The North team (in blue) won a high scoring game, don't know much more than that.

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

I'd love a Peyton or De'Mon or 6' 8" JAG. We'd be in great shape with a Cz or an Oskar or a Belford or a Mcauliffe. I know we love all our guys, but that's quite a range. Jake Belford falls squarely in the crowded category of players that achieved quite a bit, but injuries kept from achieving even ...
