Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

I have Spectrum, I put on Ch. 314, and I just saw an Aston Martin wreck in the 12 Hours of Sebring (Fla).
I don't think Desmond Watson did anything to cause the wreck.

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

None of our current seniors will be playing a fifth year at Davidson. There is a possibility that Bates would play somewhere as a grad transfer. Kellan and Carter will move on to play professionally. Nelson reminds me a bit of Chris Pearson, another Londoner. Both came here as what could be called p...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

for some reason CBS broadcast Colorado St. v. San Diego St. on Saturday. Colorado State's best player was one of our highly sought after recruits, David Roddy. He was an excellent HS football player in Minnesota. Roddy is 6-5, 250. When he gets his hands on the ball, no one takes it from him. Think ...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

I saw Chris Ford play in the 4A playoffs against my alma mater, Greensboro Grimsley (go Whirlies). he strikes me as a kid with a good motor and a tough defender/rebounder, but his shot needs work (very small sample size). I don't care, we have enough shooters. I want a tough, athletic kid and the bo...

I recently went hiking with Suzie's/Tommy's nephew, cousin or something. He is an asst. BB coach at Belmont Abbey in addition to having another job with the college.
He was there with JJ Kuhlman's brother.

every Croatian and Serbian smokes. It's required of all citizens of the former Yugoslavia. Montenegrans (sic) probably smoke, too. I think Vlade Divac smoked while he was playing. I am old enough to remember when coaches could smoke on the bench. Tom Heinsohn was often surorunded by a billow of smoke.

Has anyone here been privy to Georgetown's recent shortcomings? Their program is collapsing on itself which is sad for them but a major coup for us. Have to think we battle georgetown alot for the same type of recruit now thet we're in the A10. Any thoughts? I may be wrong, but I don't think we hav...

Alvis Rogers played on the same front line at Wake with Guy Morgan and Jim Johnstone. in the backcourt was Frank Johnson (at least one year) and Mike Helms. Danny Young (Raleigh Enloe) replaced Frank. I attended many of their games in the second hand smoke testing facility/Airplane Hangar known as t...

A 10 is good, but not a top 5 league. It is closer to a top 5 league than it is to the SoCon.

a pure act of buffoonery by Patsos, for his own ego gratification. to prove there's no limit on stupid, I paid $6.00 for a scone at Dean and DeLuca this afternoon. I was too flummoxed at the register to say I didn't want it when I found out how much it was. Haven't had it yet. Unless it's filled wit...
