Here's the quintessential Bill Walton zest for basketball on David Thompson: https://www.facebook.com/ACCNetwork/videos/all-acc-with-bill-walton-and-jay-bilas/253201142440979/ And here's the now legendary Thompson block on Bill Walton in the 1974 NCAA semifinals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whIP...

Re: RIP Bill Walton

No one was ever better in college basketball than Bill Walton ... but IMO same can be said of Lew Alcindor(Jabbar) and David Thompson.

Re: Steph update

I hesitate to post this, as I fear that it might induce a stroke for Cat Forever. It probably would be better to put it in the No Limit on Stupid thread. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/suns-shock-the-nba-by-dealing-superstar-kevin-durant-to-western-conference-rival-in-massive-trade-proposal/a...

Re: Steph update

Ant Man is on his way to becoming the face of the NBA. If the T-Wolves win the championship ... he will become that overnight. If they don't win it may take a few more seasons. Thank you LeBron and Steph ... you had great runs ... but your days at the head of the pack are over. Steph could have been...

“Now, i still get to sleep with every woman on campus, right?” Namath never met or spoke to Bryant before going to Alabama during recruitment. Bryant's offensive coordinator, Howard Schnellenberger, went to Beaver Falls and met with Namath's mother (a la Lefty). When Namath got home from school he ...

Re: Steph update

Edwards had a lousy pre draft workout w GS. He thought he was working hard. Kerr told him how bad it was. After watching Steph and some others Edwards realized Kerr was right. He had to learn how to really work hard. Apparently he’s figured it out. Kerr outsmarted himself. He assumed from a single ...

The Warriors could have drafted Anthony Edwards but Steve Kerr didn't want him: https://bolavip.com/en/nba/the-shocking-reason-why-the-warriors-didnt-want-anthony-edwards Minnesota wanted to trade down from the #1 pick, but the Warriors were not interested. Kerr and Meyers were worried about Ant Man...

The best point guards are inherently team first, above all else.
"Team first" may mean the PG needs to look for shots and score for his team: Steph, Big O, Jerry West(PG/SG), Dave Bing, Isiah Thomas, Allen Iverson (PG/SG), Jalen Brunson ... definitely among the best.

Re: It has come to this - Camelot is Gone

However, rising antisemitism on college campuses is such an issue that you noted a lack of expressed concern on this thread even though, reportedly, it is not happening at Davidson? Why broaden the discussion? Please explain the connection to the original topic. The discussion was not broadened. Th...

Re: It has come to this - Camelot is Gone

I note an absence of comment here regarding rising antisemitism on campuses today. Has that bypassed Davidson?
