Re: Clunie Email re NIL
There was no real insight into the numbers regarding our NIL efforts on last night’s Zoom call with the AD and coaches. Did I miss something? No there wasn’t any hard numbers thrown around. What I am most surprised was Matt mentioning that the staff avoids NIL conversations until it is brought up b...

Re: Clunie Email re NIL
The college isn't "All In". It never has been. They have been saying for the past 25-30+ years that I have been around Davidson athletics that they are "All In" but to this date, they never have made the commitment. We have put lipstick on a pig numerous times, but never committed. If they were, we ...

What's the numbers? Give us some meat.
Have been hearing the same thing since 2000 about fully funding our athletic teams.

Re: Up next: Fordham (CANCELLED)
I was talking with a faculty member last night and the subject of the women’s basketball team came up. He said that one class he had that day was missing about 1/3 of the students. There is flu and/or other viruses hitting a lot of the students. It is not flu/virus related. We don't have enough hea...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
I've regularly attended Davidson games since I moved here over thirty years ago, and have held two season tickets for at least a couple decades or so. Can someone with insider knowledge please give a brief update on what exactly Davidson is doing with NIL, and how it stacks up in the national hiera...

Re: Transfer portal
According to this website which tracks the transfer portal, Chloe, Cam, and Kelby are in the transfer portal https://wbbblog.com/womens-basketball-transfers-d-i-2022-23/4/ That's great. Two were seniors and not a surprise. The third is addition by subtraction. Kelby does not show up on this transfe...

Re: New Football Stadium and Track
FWIW I wish they would have focused on building seating to go higher up rather than placing sideline seats from the 10 yard line to the end of the goal line. Those seats on the end are not really a good view especially the lower rows. I don't know if this has been posted. https://legistarweb-produc...

Re: Up next: at UNCG
Great win by women's basketball. Flipped between the game and the exciting volleyball match. Rosie shot the lights out from 3 - the whole team did. What's up with the yellow photo. I know we have better photos than that. I swear, it seems we just throw stuff up on the website just to say we took a p...

Yes. The Feds are backing away from the Covid mess today. "There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level ..." Those 3 little dots at the end of that quote represent several minutes of context that greatly change the apparent message of the sound bite. Yes, they represent Biden f...

Re: ESPN+
Has anything been decided or announced about A10 coverage on ESPN+? I just got a price increase notice from them for renewals after August 31. I don’t know right off when my annual subscription runs out. Even though I will see most home games in person, and even with a higher price, I should get my...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
I think Kellan will get a two-way contract somewhere and spend some time in the G-League at least. I think he'll get his shot. He's had a couple bad games recently, but his 3pt shooting has been significantly better this year, which will be critical for him if he wants to play in the league. Intere...
