Re: Welcome Zach Laput!
Welcome Zach Laput! "Northeast 10 Academic Honor Roll". I'd guess he's smarter than the "journalist" who quoted him with the grammar flub. Let's give this outstanding young man the benefit of a doubt and assume a misquote. I've heard grammar mistakes from some of Davidson's most famous graduates wh...

Re: In Game: vs. La Salle
Amen to these thoughts, TiiredCat88. From my perspective, it seems that every year a core group of folks wildly overly inflates their expectations, then descends into the proverbial blame game when the team doesn’t rise to fulfill their heated hopes. I’m a big, dedicated fan, too. I relish every win...

Re: In Game: at Loyola Chicago
I resent and dispute any and all implications in this thread that Davidson has some plan to recruit only white players and not to recruit black players. Players ultimately choose where they play. Some recruits, black or white, may decline a Davidson offer for a variety of reasons.

Re: 2023-24 Schedule
Cook certainly would have his hands full with Washington. Washington could have killed Rudy.

Re: 2023-24 Schedule
Michigan finished 4th in the Big 10 and was led by the formidable Rudy Tomjanovich. As I recall, Doug Cook broke Rudy’s nose with a well-placed elbow on a rebound.

Re: 2023-24 Schedule
Compare 68-69 schedule with the current one. Are too many cupcakes bad for one’s longterm health? Discuss among yourselves.

Not that anyone needs reminding, but Williams recruited the players he says lack talent, etc.

Agree fully. I don't post much but read regularly and continue to notice a disturbingly low tolerance for dissenting opinions on this site. Not the Davidson way, in my opinion.

I think context and motivation are important in assessing the "USA!" chant by the D Block. The chant remains popular among Trump supporters. Did D Block begin the chanting before Trump arrived on the political scene? "USA!" certainly has political connotations, or what could be interpreted as politi...
