Re: Welcome Joe Hurlburt!

Excellent news!!! We desperately needed another big man with Rikus transferring and its fantastic to have Joe transferring in with 3 years of eligibility. I dont know how things worked out at Colorado where he didnt play much this past season, but he had very good offers being recruited out of highs...

Re: Welcome Zach Laput!

For me, it all depends on how players embrace Davidson's values. If a player comes in and fully engages in the community both academically and otherwise beyond basketball Ill gladly welcome them, even if its just for one year. I certainly think most would agree that Davidson as an institution would ...

Re: Portal

NIL is still a strange thing for me to come to grips with. Im glad others are more excited and willing to invest in it, NIL efforts are necessary if we want to compete in athletics in the new landscape of college sports, but I have a hard time being willing to move from making a gift to Davidson to ...

Re: Steph update

The most absurd thing about draymonds ejection is that it happened three minutes into the game and the foul he was complaining about wasnt even called on him. I know hes a loose cannon, but thats insane.

Re: Portal

Im sad to see Achile and Rikus in the portal, one of my favorite things about college basketball was seeing players develop and improve over 4 years especially for guys starting off as bench players and earning bigger roles. I understand the motivation for them to look for more playing time, and am ...

Duquesne

Duquesne has announced that Coach Dambrot will retire at the end of this season https://twitter.com/DuqMBB/status/1769759019126698025 Very happy for the Duquense fans and Coach Dambrot that hes able to go out on a high note reaching the tournament for the first time in 47 years. Duquesne plays six s...

Re: A10 Tournament

So if Dayton doesn’t win it, three bid league? Regular season champ has been getting at-large bid for some time now, yes? I do not believe Richmond is being included amongst teams being considered for an at large bid. Prior to the loss today, their NET was 71 and they just have one quad 1 win. That...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

Id be surprised if he winds up at Davidson if hes already on track to graduate Penn this year, but presumably the news means we have an open roster spot for next season or are at least preparing in case we wind up in those circumstances.

Re: In Game: A-10 Round One vs Fordham

As with all games there were many opportunities to avoid yet another collapse and close loss, but the four point swing where we blew an unguarded fastbreak layup that would have pushed the lead back to 10 and gave up an easy basket letting Fordham close the gap to 6 with ten minutes left was a kille...

Re: 24-25 Roster

Starters: Brizzi Connor Buckets Reid Skogman Would be strange for Skogman to go through all the senior night activity to come back, no? It would be very exciting for next years group. I would be surprised, but I believe Elle was celebrated on senior night for the womens team and decided after the f...

Re: Elle Sutphin Returns

Incredible news!!!! Cannot overstate how huge this is for the team next year. I love what it says about the program that weve had so many players choose to use the extra year to continue their playing career at Davidson.

Re: Colt 45 Award: vs. Loyola Chicago

Durkin gets my vote. Thirteen points on five of ten shooting is a good day. Its also been his best game in terms of scoring since the last time he came off the bench. I dont know if its just a fluke of sample size (though hes been a starter for 14/30 games now), differences in game plans, or somethi...

Re: In Game: vs. Loyola Chicago

FYI there is a David Skogman post out there on Instagram that will tear your guts out. Can you post contents for those of us who don't Instagram? Maybe some Instagram-savvy person can post it here. He reads a letter from his parents. https://twitter.com/DavidsonMBB/status/1765089904579801289 Grant ...
