Re: Portal
Keyshawn Hall is in the portal. Can't beat him, but maybe we can buy him. My neighbor asked me what I would do with the payout if I won the current NC lottery, which has surpassed $1 billion. I unhesitatingly said I'd give $25 million to the Davidson collective, so we wouldn't have to worry about a...

Re: 24-25 Roster
Starters: Brizzi Connor Buckets Reid Skogman Would be strange for Skogman to go through all the senior night activity to come back, no? It would be very exciting for next years group. I feel like this has happened at Davidson once before within the past few years... Senior Night recognition, flower...

Re: In Game: vs. Fordham
It seems like the college could put together some type of communications minor and tap some eager beaver students to do most of the grunt work for these broadcasts and game day activities. It would be great experience and maybe we could get better results. I still don't remember seeing a video repl...

Re: In Game: vs. La Salle
I think you and I might have been shoulder to shoulder in the stands for that one. What a moment. I was grateful to share it with you. Man. And I was also happy to scoot out of that arena! Their crowd had been foaming at the mouth a little.... 100%. It used to be more than a little bit scary ...

There are a handful of shots I witnessed that made vivid memories. Jack Gibbs' three-pointer at the end of our inaugural A-10 season game at Rhode Island was one of them.

Re: Skogman injury
Maybe it's still the case, but wasn't there a Davidson alumnus/a that was CEO of Stryker in recent years? Stryker is best known for its orthopedic devices. We need to approach that alum about an NIL deal with the women's basketball team. Steve MacMillan '85 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_P._...

Re: Skogman injury
Thanks for the update on those three fine lads. I hope they all return, however, I'll be a bit surprised if at least one doesn't move on. Grant is pre-med. Medical school admission is super competitive, so you'd best take your slot when you get it. If he gets an acceptance, he will almost certainly...

Re: No limit on stupid
College football gone - good riddance; except for the Patriot and Pioneer Leagues. There's probably a thread here somewhere for all things related to NIL, but this surely belongs in the STUPID thread as well. I listened to yesterday's *The Daily* podcast and was completely horrified by how uninform...

Re: Up next: at ETSU
I believe that DeChelis pulled him after he got a technical foul in an encounter with a Davidson player (Matt, I'm pretty sure). As a player, Matt was the Michelangelo of provoking opponents in subtle and nearly invisible ways, and getting under their skin to decrease their effectiveness. A handful...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
If you click on the top link in the previous post, Dom says he's "blessed and honored" to receive an offer from Davidson. Unfortunately, it's dated July, 2021. He liked us at some point. My youngest played high school ball against Dom and AAU ball with him before and as his stock went stratospheric...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
I don’t think so. If anything the DNA is there and Matt is intrinsically tied to the program; as a son a player a recruiter a coach and now THE coach. He gets the opportunity to infuse a new perspective on the program and offense as well. Maybe one that is even more exciting to kids. Who knows? We ...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
I hate even asking this question. Is there any worry that individuals in this year's recruiting class will de-commit with the news of Bob's retirement? I hope and presume that Matt's hire will add the promise of consistency -- that the program won't be run in a completely new and different way with ...

Here are some highlights of Luke Frampton and Trey Wertz (who recently got offer from LaSalle and Clemson to go along with offers from Rice and Richmond). I don't have any inside information regarding their recruitment status with Davidson, but they've been mentioned on this thread before. Frampton...
