Re: Wake Forest admits the truth

My other Wake Forest connection was that I had a library card a couple times, which they gave for free to clergy. I lived in Winston-Salem in the late ‘70s. Re: Wake Forest admits the truth

When I mentioned him several years back, someone here filled me in on his later life. It seems like he became a high school principal around Greensboro. His daughter Elizabeth played for Virginia Tech, and I think was drafted by the WNBA.

Re: Up next: Point

I liked the view from the 40 yard line. I saw several people I knew in the stands. I didn't think the game was consistently awful, just enough and early enough in the game to sour the mood. Giving the 3rd string QB a good bit of experience is a mixed blessing that could pay dividends. I think the en...

Re: Up next: Point

I can’t get the stats to come up. It sounded like my guy Mari had a good game, and his brother A.J. got a couple carries in the fourth quarter.

It's up now. There is no crowd noise?
Can’t hear the crowd noise here. PA at threshold of pain. We can’t compete.

Re: Up next: Point

Parking on the golf course was not a problem. My car might need a front-end alignment.
