Stored right next to the SI with Bill Bradley on the cover, and inside: Fred Hetzel photo looking like the Adonis he was at DU. _________________ All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for men of good will to do nothing. Eddie Burke

I have a copy of the Maloy cover and a sailor flap warmup of the type Maloy wore on that cover.
Last laundered over 40 years ago, so it's not for everyone. |

I still think of old Johnston Gym and Lefty's b-ball camp after hours with Scott playing Maravich, and Cowens with Maloy; as good as it gets. |

Re summer of '69 Davidson Basketball camp
I was fortunate to spend an evening with Dave Cowens the Saturday b4 Thanksgiving at an National Basketball Retired Players Association Reception in the DC area. (see info Below). Cowens still talks about how much fun he had playing in those scrimmages. He mentioned some NYC area players that were at the camp as well. He also always has good things to say about how tough Terry Holland was on the court.
