Their losses are to a terrible Chattanooga team and JMU. I'd be happy with winning by a single point.

We've won five in a row against these guys. They still have a large advantage in the overall series. They'll beat us again at some point. But this has been a fun stretch. 5-0 with 3 wins at their place. Average score of just over 90 to exactly 73. I hope we have a complete game on Tuesday. And bring your Wildcat friends to the game.

Thanks for the link. They seem fairly open to liking everything about us except for our crackerbox arena, our fans, our alumni, our coach, this geriatric-filled board, and the recent results.
No bad word about any Davidson players, presumably because they haven't focused on who they are yet. I'll go ahead and predict that they won't like Jon Axel very much. |

Interesting that they've noticed that our fans don't show up at their place.
Long ago a lady who is among our staunchest supporters, financially and otherwise, told me that she went to one game and Halton once upon and time and vowed never again. So that was enough to keep me away.
I did go to a women's game in Halton the year that an NIT game was there. I encountered what was apparently a subset of their most obnoxious fans, but they eventually moved away from where we were sitting.

ac3983 was on the receiving end of some sorry treatment by Davidson people. Shameful. I know he was probably a challenging employee for the previous AD, but there is no reason to treat him poorly now. He deserves an apology. At the very least. Nice to see him at every game, including bringing his lovely family to the tournament in Charleston.

Pomeroy says #305 at #79.
Sagarin says #293 at #78.
Charlotte's best win was over Oklahoma State. Oklahoma State just beat a top 20 team today. As much as the computer numbers favor us, we had better be ready to play hard. This won't be easy.

I find it perplexing/amusing/profoundly sad that there are still some Forty-niner fans who think that "Duck Favidson" is clever. Or maybe its the same guy who has posted it every year for 20+ years. Nyuck, nyuck.
