Used to be, folks in the Charlotte area that didn't take the Observer would drive to the nearest paper box to buy the paper on Thanksgiving Day - just to read Ron Green's annual Thanksgiving article.

It's always relevant and always references all that's good about local athletics and the simple things in life. I love it.
