Strange how this sets up to become the first game of a double-header. I don't think we've ever had back-to-back o-o-c games with the same opponent. I say "o-o-c" because it would be conceivable that we've had to to this during the conference schedule at some point in the distant past. Wizards, care to weigh in?? _________________ “Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.†— Jeff Bridges as The Dude in "The Big Lebowski" |

Gotta limit it to the post-war era or else you'll find examples. Played Vandy twice in a 2-3 week period in 67-68, but there were games in between.
This Northeastern series is truly odd. |

All with intervening games. The S Car and Cincy ones were actually a little closer together than the Vandy ones. Nothing in the postwar era matches up with this upcoming regular season double-header.
Presumably the assistant who draws "scout" for Northeastern will have it for both games. Might not be a compliment to scout 1 if they change it for game 2.
With regard to the thread itself, CC is making an early claim to upset predictions of a rotating set of Colt45 game winners. |

I say we split these two games. Hope I'm wrong and we win them both. |

Do we owe them a game at Matthews Arena next year? It's tiny and was designed for hockey, but it's very old. |

could be that Carter will start at least one game this season the way he's playing. |

Carter for general impact on the game. DCz added a nice lift in the first half. _________________ "There ain't no sanity clause!" Chico Marx |

Carter for his performance as a whole throughout the game, but DCZ kept us in it in the first half. Id be fine splitting it between them this week. |

I'm voting for David Cz. He optimized his minutes in relief of JAG in the first half. |

Carter, with honorable mention to Cal Freundlich for inspiring the team with his dance moves from the bench. _________________ "We should've thrown our number 7 pitcher against Davidson......" Post by Tar Heel baseball fan 16 minutes into the game. |

Tough call.. like DCz for his shot making.. but Carter's overall hustle and in particular causing the turnover on their inbounds play earns him my vote this time. |

David was good. Carter was thrilling.
I'm voting for Carter tonight. But if he keeps playing like a sixth starter, I'm not sure he should or will remain eligible. _________________ The basic entrance fee to being a good person is to listen to and believe people who lack a privilege you have. |
