I had a hold on my credit card as my friends in India didn't think I could spend $75 dollars at the brickhouse at 640 pm then another $50 at the same establishment 3 hours later _________________ If anyone disagrees with anything I say, I am quite prepared not only to retract it, but also to deny under oath that I ever said it |

I had a charge for a new camera in Huntersville denied because I had bought lunch at Toast in Davidson that day, and I've had an Apple Pay at the drug store rejected by BofA after I bought a $3 online book from Amazon that morning. But I've never had the problem from buying from the same place in one day.
The camera charge was delayed a bit because they were calling me from the same toll-free number I was calling at the same time, and I was confused by what was showing up on the phone. It was all straightened out in moments, and I've enjoyed the camera ever since.
And I just gave up using the BofA Visa with Apple Pay, and now get American Airlines miles instead when I refill prescriptions. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |

I have never had my purchases denied, but i get lots of fraud alert e-mails after the fact.
At the Panthers stadium, it is actually faster to use a credit card than cash. Folks just don't know how to make change these days, and they put tax on purchases there now.
I went to the Tennessee vs WVU football game there Labor Day weekend.
When I got the fraud alert e-mails, even I was surprised at how many identical charges there were for $9 plus tax for beer. It was really hot that day. |
