It finally percolated to the top of my Netflix queue after my years of avoiding it. I just watched the first fifteen minutes, and that included the interiors shot across the street from where I lived. I had lunch a couple days with cast and crew, but had a conflict the third day.
The triplets I had lunch with looked ghastly in their makeup in person, but of course looked fine on the screen.
Miguel was of course a nicer person than his screen character. I took his picture as he posed with our Cub Scouts. Li’l Kim posed with some of the girls, but I wasn’t around for that. They used the church parking lot as a staging area.
They had already done the scenes at the blowed up coliseum. After my neighborhood they were going to Plaza-Midwood, which I take to be the aunt’s neighborhood.
Since I’ve already seen the locations of interest and people I met, I may watch the rest in small doses and/or FF a lot.
I enjoyed meeting crew members who had ongoing careers in Charlotte with enough work to stay busy. I don’t know if the industry is still an ongoing concern here. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |
