They beat them 2/3/78.

And on 2/2/79. No wonder the North South doubleheader was short lived.

Eddie Holbrook was the Paladins's mentor that year. He made a smooth transition from rock star to hoops coach. Best known for Lonely Girl.

Eddie Holbrook has been the leading figure in Shelby, NC's selection as the long term home of the American Legion World Series.

Joe Williams was still coach in 1977-78 when they swept UNC and State.

Saint Louis beats Seton Hall, as they should.

So let me get this straight: the top 3 A10 teams combined are 10-2, have 4 top 100 wins (according to kenpom), and no bad losses? Furthermore, the top half of the league is 21-3 with, again, no bad losses.

Couldn’t be our league.... I was told the A10 was collapsing faster than a massive star at the end of it’s life cycle.

Joe Williams was the Furman coach in '77-'78. Holbrook took over in '78-'79.

STL had 24 turnovers and still won. Dominated all other aspects of the game. but wow 24 turnovers!

GW going down to their 5th consecutive defeat, but St. Joe's is hanging tough against West Virginia.

That hardly does what's happening justice. George Washington is currently losing 56-17 to a team that lost to Augusta University in their exhibition.

Obviously, the wheels seem to have come off the program at GW. I suspect we are about to see a coaching change or a mass defection of the troops.

Fordham just Rossitered their way to a third straight win! Down four with thirteen seconds left, and then this happened.

Love the use of Rossiter as a verb.

Memo to Columbia: When in doubt, throw it up court! Nothing good comes when you try to play offense in your backcourt.

Calling GW's current players "troops" is an insult to armed forces everywhere. The closest troops to the current Colonials were the NC militia at Camden and Guilford Courthouse.
