Yep, terrific effort on the road by our team. We'll get there. 31 Elon turnovers. 23 orebs for Davidson. Came from 10 down, and then 8 down, in the 4th qtr, and came back again in OT.
Katie had 19 pts, 3 asts, and a career high 7 stls. Double-doubles for two Cats -- Sarah with 16 pts and 10 rebs, including 8 orebs, and Justine had 16 pts and 11 rebs.
Next up... exams and rest. Then we head to Clemson a week from Sunday.

| Followed the game. Good competitive contest. Anyone know how our shooting percentage and turnovers compare to last year's. Seems like we are struggling in both areas this year. I am a little frustrated as we have lost three games that I thought we would win, but. as with the men's team, I look forward to seeing how this team develops over the course of the season. Still confident that this is a program on the rise. |

Through 9 games 2017-18: FG 35%, 2FG 37%, 3FG 28%, FT 72%, APG 11, TOPG 19
Through 9 games 2018-19: FG 38%, 2FG 42%, 3FG 31%, FT 73%, APG 14, TOPG 17
We played a tougher early schedule last year, IMO, but I don't know how to normalize against that.
I think we'll take and make better shots and take better care of the ball as things progress. Team is still young, Justine is not in any kind of a groove yet, and we're still getting used to playing faster than we did last year.
Edit: Fixed my typo 17-18 FT%. Losing close games is just plain disheartening. I think we'll be fine.
