I wrote a response that somehow didn't get posted. The gist was to thank BDF for the info, and that I could understand the votes for Nate. He didn't get as many rebounds as Carter, David, or Bates, but he did score more points. I'm of course proud of and happy for Nate that he seems headed back toward what he was once able to do, and proud of the progress Carter and David are making toward doing what I perceived as their potential. It's hard to say more about the rest of the bench with their limited playing time, but I do wish that the walk-on music major's shot had fallen and he had got on the scoreboard in the closing minutes.

Ali McKay is doing great. Putting up gaudy numbers in his Scottish semi-pro league, he skipped out for a week visiting in the Davidson area while his team plays against the weakest team in the league. He got to see the Northeastern game as well as UNC-C while here. He is a big Panthers fan, watching all their games via the internet, and attended the (disastrous) game against Seattle.
He has bought a house with an old high school buddy and they plan to live in it for a few years, fix it up, then flip it.
He has a cute girlfriend and plans to return with her in April.
