Granted the only GW basketball I watch occurs once or twice a year, the Maurice Joseph signing at GW was a mystery to me. I thought the team underperformed after Lonergan was ousted. I'd concede most head coaches don't get enough time to prove themselves, and perhaps this will be an example where patience will prove the right course of action, but signing a then 31 year old seemed fraught with downside.

GW has tanked their Massey number all the way to #333.
