These two wins will look very good at the end of the year. Northeastern is well coached and works hard. Davidson fortunate to catch them at less than 100% but will take it. Everything still possible for this squad.

Well said. I have not been impressed by team overall this season but yet we are 5-1(!!!). This team needs to keep improving and they will.

We worked really, really hard to get Luka more post touches. It looked like they were trying to get an alley-oop that has apparently worked in practice. We were close, but NE knew we wanted it. Nice win. NE runs great stuff. When they get healthy in January, they'll be just fine.

Im glad we found a way to win this one. The teams off to a great start in being able to find ways to win. That said I dont feel very confident with how were currently playing. The offense seems to really struggle in knocking down threes or getting easy baskets. Were not getting much consistency between games yet and it seems like players are swinging from big games to quiet performances.

All of these are great problems to have when youre 5-1 and Im sure that shots will start to fall and we will improve as the season goes on, we just havent looked convincing in many games yet.

Noticed that as well. Luka is there if we can figure it out. Doesn't have to be an alley-oop per se. Just get him the ball. I think we are missing some back cuts as well. Need to be a bit more aggressive with our passes. Seems like more is there than we are realizing.

Just listened to Coach's post game interview - sounded like we are 1-5 instead of 5-1, with most of the criticisms of himself for not coaching up the lads well enuff. The King wants better decision making, fewer turnovers and the establishment of a rhythm offensively with five guys on the same page.

Irrespective of these critiques of deep flaws needing to be addressed, Coach expressed confidence that all the talent, motivation and commitment are present in this team to achieve these worthy goals.

Go 'Cats keep the Hornet's Nest for beauty's sake.

Our record covers up for a lot of the team’s warts right now. I honestly don’t think we are “good” yet. Hopefully these next three games and three weeks of practice offer a chance to improve and get into a groove for the gigantic Temple game.
