Would not have been much cost in the Purdue game. _________________ This is a post by BDF, not BDL. |

Dusan fired a couple in that game. I’ve actually thought Nate’s stroke from 3 has looked pretty pure during warm-ups. He has a nice simple shot and a good release. I imagine he just needs reps and confidence. |

But, those seasons with Thomas, Boris and Andrew featured a certain guard who seems to score a lot in the NBA. Steph was the reason the Cats could play Max and still score.
One thing is certain, without a transcendent talent on the team, the offense works a lot better when all 5 guys on the floor are threats to shoot from outside. |
Max and his shot looked great his soph year at Chatt. But he screwed around without his shot and completely lost his fundamentals. Then he hurt his back early in 2007-08 and it got worse. He couldn't jump during rehab and apparently just fooled around throwing up set shots. When he was healthy enough to play the last half of the season, his jump shot was a mess.
Until he threw up a 3 in Raleigh late in that game in the dance. "oh no! What are you doing M.? great shot!" _________________ "Then they started making 3s. A lot of 3s. We're talking more 3s than a bad dating site." |

If memory serves he was something like 6-51 from 3-point range before that shot. 10 feet, 1 inch off the ground the whole way _________________ Carthago delenda est

Packer and Nantz made fun of it. Couple of possessions later he put up "a hold my beer" special that was even lower and flatter. Worked out pretty well when Andrew scrambled after the missed shot and found Steph for a 3 that was kind of important. _________________ "Then they started making 3s. A lot of 3s.
