GW is playing at their absolute best today. They are tight with Virginia at the half. 17-42. Two of those three sentences are true.

I suspect both LaSalle and GW will be playing on Thursday night in the A-10 tournament.

That would require great improvement.

Dartmouth picked up a road win today at Loyola (MD).

Appalachian State leads Alabama, 56-54 with 11 minutes left. Justin Forrest just left the game with a knee injury. Sad

Dartmouth shouldn't take last in the Ivy.

App gave up a ton of offensive rebounds to Alabama. They also missed too many FTs and turned it over a bunch. They could have survived one of those things, maybe two, but all three meant they lost the lead they had with about 8 minutes to go. They ended up losing by 9.

Mea Culpa! I was thinking the tournament would start on Thursday rather than Wednesday.

They're much better than what is predicted but we still should have beat them by 20.

Wow! Duquesne was down 12 points with 3:30 to play and won 89-88 in OT.

That's a good win for the Dukes and the A10. St. Bonaventure lost to Niagara. The A10 won 3 out of 4 tonight.

Fordham lost at Houston Baptist over the weekend. Maybe the Rams confused Houston Baptist with the Houston Cougars circa the mid-'60s through 1984.

Mid-'70s NBA defensive specialist E.C. Coleman went to Houston Baptist. I think I have his trading card.

Last 2 posts need to be in the Week 2 thread.

For a while we were shown to have interest in David Caraher at Chapel Hill HS. He started and played well at Houston Baptist last year. He played well enough to transfer to St. John's.

GMU lost by one to Penn. Would have been a good win to get.

8 years ago yesterday was the DCats pick-up game at the Palestra. I can repost pictures.
