I urge folks who post on this site to remember the difference between "man" and "men" in writing about our first-year players. "Our freshman are good players" is wrong. "Our freshmen are good players" is correct. Just a reminder from a grammar codger who sees the misuse here quite often. |

I was listening to NPR news while driving this morning, and I heard an announcer talking about "jewlery" not once, but twice. Of course, I 'bout went nukular. _________________ "We should've thrown our number 7 pitcher against Davidson......" Post by Tar Heel baseball fan 16 minutes into the game. |
