End of 3rd qtr, tied at 32. My goodness. GW is the team looking out of sorts now. Only 2 turnovers for us that period, and we've controlled our defensive board.

4th qtr... Cats up 39-37.
** Mackenzie just moved into the 5th slot on the all-time points list.
4:42 left, timeout, 44-42, GW. Justine with 12, Mackenzie with 8, Sarah with 8, Katie has 6. Colonials have settled down, and still playing the 2-3 zone. We need to regroup.

Good comeback. Good effort. In the second half, that is. First half doomed us. By the way, scoreboard is wrong. Again. They are trying to figure out who is in for GW. Until then, only 3 GW players are listed.

If you want three people to ref some church league action, one of these refs would be a decent choice. Ponytail and Baldy wouldn't earn their tater salad.

Justine finished with 13 pts and 6 rebs. Sarah had 10 pts and 9 rebs. Katie with 9 pts and 7 rebs, Mackenzie 8 pts and 6 rebs.
*** Congrats to Mackenzie, who is now in Davidson’s top 5 all-time in points, rebounds, and blocks. Only one other Wildcat is currently in the top 5 on those three lists.
We ended up out-shooting GW, 33% to 31%. Also won 3FG%, 21% to 19%. Also won FT%, 73% to 56%. Also won the boards, 46-38, most of that differential in the 2nd half. Only five 2nd half turnovers for Davidson.
We had a 17-0 run in last year's game at GW. In this game, we had a 16-0 run, from down 32-19 to up 35-32. Their 11-0 run in the 4th qtr tonight was the killer.
Next up, the Cats head to Olean, NY, on Saturday afternoon to play St. Bonaventure.
