Dusan. The spin move was awesome, and his not one, but two 3-pointers were both daggahs. _________________ "We should've thrown our number 7 pitcher against Davidson......" Post by Tar Heel baseball fan 16 minutes into the game. |

I yelled up my vote to raptor at 13:55. But I'll post it here, too.
Dusan, of course.
I was trending toward David early in the game. And Bates looks more and more like he belongs on the court. Plays in the final minutes were obviously set up for Cal. He missed the shots, but got good looks. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |

Happy Birthday!
I assume his parents were in attendance. _________________ "We should've thrown our number 7 pitcher against Davidson......" Post by Tar Heel baseball fan 16 minutes into the game. |

That explains it. I didn't look around the parents' section much tonight. I did see them at Red and Black and when they posed with other families after the panel. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |

Dusan with the textbook definition of a Colt45 performance. He turned an 8 point game into a blowout with those back to back scores for 5 points, and those two paled in comparison to the total Barham move in the first half.
Pretty sure one of Winthrop's back doors was his bad, based on how quickly Bates popped up thereafter, but that's a quibble and the guy he spun on would gladly trade places in terms of defensive lowlites.
Full on 40 for Dusan. |

We've had more unanimous votes in this still-early season than any other in total, and maybe all of the previous seasons combined. Dusan is the obvious choice and the obvious winner of this round. _________________ “Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.†— Jeff Bridges as The Dude in "The Big Lebowski" |

The election has been decided but the votes are still coming in. Jeez, sounds like a certain NC election.

And between those back to back scores, he picked off an Eagle pass into the middle. _________________ "We should've thrown our number 7 pitcher against Davidson......" Post by Tar Heel baseball fan 16 minutes into the game. |

Shoutout to DZ for grabbing a defensive rebound, then seconds later draining a three. |

Dusan-exciting to see him be in the flow of the game and make a difference last night!
But similar to last game, shout out to CZ the younger, who again was solid off the bench. Feel like he doesn’t make a ton of mistakes, defends well, good perimeter shooter, tough. Having quality minutes from him to spell JAG and Kellen for 5-10 minutes a game is going to be pretty critical for us. My younger daughter, who started the evening asking how many innings there are in a basketball game, unprovoked asked as we were walking out “how come #3 was the only one who was allowed to play for the whole game?†Pretty astute - we need another guard off the bench besides Carter to give JAG a breather as the season rolls on into A10 play - hoping it turns out that DCZ is that ball handler as the season goes on - he has that potential. |
