Tough loss for VCU to St. John’s. VCU was dangerous from three all night but missed too many FTs and couldn’t stop Ponds at the end. Still, should have had a chance to win as Evans was apparently fouled (no call) on three pointer at the buzzer. Jenkins and Vann were very good for VCU. |

Refs blatantly stole this one from VCU. |

Considering all of VCU’s turnovers tonight, I guess the refs figured they would get in on the act and get a steal of their own. |

Slo mo replay proved that VCU was clearly jobbed. Shooter was definitely whacked on the arm. I guess refs can't bring themselves to blow the whistle at end of game violations . |

Recruits so often get overblown, but Carte'Are Gordon on SLU is the real deal. Their offense is ugly but he will be a problem |

SLU needs to beat Pitt if they want to be taken seriously at all. Pitt is very bad. |

Leading scorer Isabell sitting out for undisclosed reasons, plus foul trouble has four freshman on the court. JAG's little brother just pulled up from deeeeeeeeeeep (and missed, sigh) |

Ouch. I saw Jordan Goodwin had three fouls, didn't see about Isabell. |

Airball the front-end of a 1-1 down 2 in the closing seconds. Ouch. |

Pitt won 75-73. ESPN started showing the game in the last minute.
Isabell was playing late in the game. |

Another tough loss for conference. Free throws again a problem. SLU tough on boards. |

I'll take Fultz in his current state over French at the line, French is 42/121 (34.7%) from the line in his career and 2/11 this season. |
