I agree, there seems to be something fishy going on with the NCAA scoreboard. |

GW's livestats says it's 29-22 with 4:11 to go in the 3rd quarter. Bad women ahead. |

I'm afraid the Spiders have it in hand with a ten-point lead when GW has not scored more than nine points in any of the first three quarters. |

3:30, 64-54, Cats.
3:12, 64-56. Cats ball, and we are in the bonus.
2:30, 66-59, Cats to inbound after Saadia draws a charge.
2:01, VCU to the FT line... make, make, lead is now 5.
1:31, 66-61, Rams call timeout, plenty of shot clock.
1:19, Rams score, 66-63.
46 seconds, Cats run clock, Justine misses, ball out of bounds off VCU. Cats ball if it hit the rim... it did. New clock.
17.7 seconds, 66-63, Justine's shot is blocked, no whistle, VCU ball and they call timeout. VCU will inbound, down 3, in the front court.
Katie with the steal. 14 seconds. She heads to the line... miss, make, up 4.
5 seconds, Rams miss, Ally rebounds and will head to the line... make, make.
** Final, 69-63. Nice job, Cats. _________________ ...coming out of the murky, dreary jungle of untutored mediocrity.

Our last FG was with 3:08 to go, but the defense was stout and we hit 3-4 FTs to close it out.
Good game! Great Senior Day! |

Katie had 14 pts and 6 asts. That makes 105 assists for the season, good for 12th on the single season list.
And, just to give props to one of the seniors, Katie is still only 2nd on the single season list among current players. Chloe's 110 assists last season has her at 10th on the list.
Saadia had 10 pts on 3-3 from deep. Per Derek, that doubles her career total of triples.
Mackenzie with 8 pts, 6 rebs and 3 stls. Justine led the way with 22 pts. Great to see a big offensive game from her. Ally and Sarah were big on the boards in the 2nd half, with 9 and 7, respectively, for the game.
Seven A-10 wins is the most since we joined the league. Four A-10 road wins is the most since we joined the league.
Next up... we return to the Robins Center for a rematch with Richmond. We beat them, 68-65, at their place, on January 14. _________________ ...coming out of the murky, dreary jungle of untutored mediocrity. |

Probably looks that way on video. Washed-out red beside Cobb. _________________ "McKillop is a gentleman. He could have played 'name that score' if he so desired."---St Joe's fan |

Did anyone notice that #55 for VCU, One of two Russians on their team, had to have a translator, the grey haired gentleman on the bench, translate all the VCU's coaches instructions to her or the team. She obviously could not speak enough english to understand rudimentary instructions as the man immediately after the coach spoke repeatedly relayed to her what was said as she sometimes stood apart from their huddle. Strange.....I have never seen anything quite like that men or women's games. Going to classes must be tough. |
