| The defense is a joke. Creamer had a better defense, which is sad, no one can tackle or cover. The only good part is the interior line. Put some kids out there who can tackle. Who cares how fast they run the 40 if they can’t tackle or cover. We should have won that game. That stinks!!!! |

We are clearly much much much better offensively. The OL gets better each week and we now appear to have a multitude of backs.
However, our defense is the worst I have ever seen at any level. Our scheme is elementary and predictable and our DBs, while very young, are terrible on fundamentals. And they haven't gotten better. I know we have injuries (and at least one sure defensive starter didn't return to the team this year), but that is no excuse for this lousy scheme.
Our special teams also appear to be weaker as well.
So, I am delighted that we are better and that we are competitive in each game. I'm completely flummoxed how were can be so terrible on defense.
We are better but have a long way to go. |

A 6'8 240 TE can make a lot of defenses look bad.
Coach has fixed the offense and made it special. Give him some time and I am sure he will tighten up the D.
FYI the Stetson QB was good..........and a red shirt senior.
Keep the faith, Coach Abell can make Davidson football special.
