Davidson's Nathan Ekwu (knee) has been fully cleared for all basketball related activities, per Bob McKillop. Dusan Kovacevic (knee) is still a few weeks away.

Good to hear!
That's exactly the opposite message I feared was going to be shared based on the subject. _________________ Carthago delenda est

What about our threadstarter’s knees? Has he been cleared? |

I believe he will be ready for the start of the season. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |

This is such great news. I hope he has a monster year and is able to finish out on his own terms. _________________ "There ain't no sanity clause!" Chico Marx |

So I guess Nate will be clear to join the starting lineup, just as I predicted, wftc. _________________ "We should've thrown our number 7 pitcher against Davidson......" Post by Tar Heel baseball fan 16 minutes into the game. |

You never know with an injury like that whether he'll bounce back. I suggest we have him evaluated and if he's not fully recovered we get BMFC warmed up and ready to go. |

BMFC has had moments of greatness, but I haven't seen him handle the day-to-day grind and responsibility of leading this board into games. Bob has shown he's up to it. Barring injury or liver jaundice after consuming too much of the Coastal Empire product line I think he's the man for the job. |

Puts a little more pressure on Luka to contribute sooner rather than later. Hope "a few weeks away" doesn't carry into the new year. |

Haha. He will come off the bench all season to win the Colt 45 belt. |

Nate and others have been one to three months away from playing for years at a time. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |

Your devoted threadstarter is temporarily in terrible shape, 2 days into service as a juror for a case that will probably go 4 or 5 days. I can't say anything, of course, but it definitely ain't for jaywalking.
I don't see how you lawyer types can do that sort of thing continuously. _________________ The best thing Davidson ever did was to admit women to classy up the place. |

You need to watch "Goliath" and "Better Call Saul." Good lawyering going on. |

The Jury Services Division of Threadstarter World Industries completed it's recent contract this afternoon.
New experiences for the week:
Walking to lunch as a group surrounded by deputies, who stopped traffic on a major downtown street to get us across quickly.
Seriously studying graphic autopsy photos.
Commuting between the jury room and courtroom as the prosecution, defense and judge waged their battles out of our earshot.
Seeing TV cameras that were forbidden from showing me and my 11 newfound friends of intentional diversity.
Having an armed escort as I waited for The Boss to pick me up in front of the Court House, after I was kept out of the sight of the exiting courtroom spectators.
A recurring experience: Being profoundly grateful for my normally dull and boring life. There are worlds I really don't want to live in. _________________ The best thing Davidson ever did was to admit women to classy up the place. |
