Great choice. I hope this means he will keep doing the podcast and that it will get back to a more regular schedule.
We've been fortunate to have the kind of sports coverage for our little corner of the county for these years.

A "Senior Administration Official" tells me that the podcast will be part of his duties.

Lake Norman Citizen has little interest in covering Davidson.

Both papers were better than before the merger. Or at least one could get a better sense of reality by reading both.
We were spoiled in our little corner with having coverage in two throw-out papers, David Borak's web site, and a slick magazine. When I first built my house, my day off over here was rather spartan, no TV and then a 13" set with rabbit ears, and to start just lawn chairs to sit in. I did have a bed delivered on the day of closing. I would read those publications and work the crosswords and sudoku(s?â€"whatever the plural is). The Davidsonian was out on racks in town, too, so I followed it from time to time. The McCrory kid was a good sportswriter as I recall.
Seems funny to be waxing nostalgic for 2004, though.

Didn’t stan propose that the SID office should write its own game coverage since no one was covering games adequately?
Now they have an excellent writer if they take up stan’s idea.
