| They have a rule that only one player per team may participate. Wright has led the league in made threes for most of the season. |

Makes sense. I think that's a fair rule.
In the East All-Star lineup, there are four celtics: Rondo, Allen, Garnett and Pierce. I think all four are reserves. Garnett may be a starter. _________________ Dr. Mantis Toboggan |

| The reason I knew about the rule was because some guys on TV were saying that Paul Pierce and Ray Allen couldn't both compete unless the NBA waived the rule. Since Pierce is the defending champ and Allen just broke the career record for made threes the NBA wants both of them in the contest and decided to waive the rule. |

While I agree that Dorell deserves a shot as he leads the league in 3 pointers, he will not do well in the competition. His shot is very slow and doesn't lend itself well to this type of competition.
It's pretty ridiculous, in my mind, that they went with Daniel Gibson and James Jones over Steph, though. Even these two over Anthony Morrow? C'mon. _________________ www.austinbell.tv |
