| Do we have a #3 jersey hanging in the closet (or is it in the rafters)? |

10, 11, 21, 33, and 44 in the rafters, presumably with a pending 30, but no 03. There seems to be some pattern there, but I need to get dressed for church rather than trying to figure it out. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμέρα εἶναι Λύγξ |

Looks like there was a number 3 from 1990 probably through 1992, as best I can read the small print in the online Quips and Pranks it was worn by Sterling Freeman. _________________ "There were giants in the earth in those days" |

I can see a path to a 15 in the sequence, but it would not satisfy mm15.
I have very high, nigh giddy, expectations for the coming season, but not on the order of adding numbers in the list. Not that the rafters will be bereft of other additions, though. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμέρα εἶναι Λύγξ |

That would pose quite a dilemma for all though, if the current 15 would rise to such heights. As constructed, team balance should preclude such an addition...? |

Ah, yes, Mr Sterling Freeman, Little Rock Arkansas native, I believe. 1988 - 1992, a period that tried a Wildcat man's soul. _________________ "A lot of people are going to be like Lunardi and pick Elon to win the Southern next season. Sterling is now pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in Smithfield and Executive Director of the Wildacres Leadership Initiative. He's a fine representative of Davidson. _________________ I miss the days on the outdoor court between the pole vault pit and Johnston Gym. I am on the board of directors of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. Our organization has been examining ways to increase diversity within our membership and leadership, and Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation just made us one of nine non-profits around the state to share in a grant to help us in our efforts. We recently had a day-long workshop with the two facilitators provided to us by ZSR, and one of them was Sterling Freeman. I had a chance during a break to discuss Wildcat basketball with him, and he has some interesting stories. _________________ "Just play like you know how to play. That's why you're here." Dr. Bliss and I went to our niece's wedding last weekend in Atlanta. The presiding minister was none other than Lefty's daughter. The bride is a UVA grad: she had no idea what Dr. B and I were talking about. _________________ "That little sucker can shoot, man!"

Joe Aase had committed to Davidson. Joe is a 6-ft-8 PF from Austin. Nice to see a Packer in D1 hoops. #TheRealGoPackGo
