I think that is just the tweets of our own players (or recruits too?). I don't think we are denying social media altogether, for fear that policy might require us to shut down the blog itself. |

Nope, that'd be stupid. _________________ “He was like Fred Astaire,” Gervin said. “He was dancing and twirling around, gliding across the floor. We ain’t seen that in a while.” |

| Couple of Sam Singer updates here and here (they have some nice scouting reports and quotations, but no real news). |

| Alex Kline has some sort of Davidson update(s) here, but you have to have a Rivals subscription to view it. |

| In the midst of this informational famine, even a mirage is enough to instill hope for a snack. Anybody with access to the referenced update? |

Looking at that picture makes me think that Johnston Gym should have been named a National Historical Monument--if only for the smell. _________________ Trying to remember what day it is and if that matters. |

McAuliffe "helps."
Worthington is main target, but he'll probably wind up at BYU. Davidson wins participation trophy for getting in his top 5, since he had a list of 30.
Matthew Madigan also being wooed.
Kline pretty certain Sam Singer won't take a visit to Davidson. _________________ Curry responds, "You know what's cooler than a million 3-pointers? A billion 3-pointers."

verbalcommits.com has BYU with 3 PF verbal commits for 2013 and no available scholarships. One can dream...

| They have two scholarships. Until recently they had only one available scholarship. BYU has been (and remains) in the hunt for top prospect Jabari Parker (who is LDS). Some BYU fans had expressed puzzlement online of their recruitment of Worthington, I suppose because they were worried Worthington would commit and take the scholarship they were hoping would go to Parker. But Demarcus Harrison just transferred from BYU to Clemson, opening another slot. |

New name: Joe Aase, 6'7" (listed sometimes at 6'8") SF/PF from Austin, Mn reported to have an offer from Davidson and a visit scheduled for 9/7 ( also visit scheduled to Boston U on 9/14), as reported by Yahoo Sports.
For his junior year, Aase had a 47% FG% and an excellent 42% 3PT% (74/177). His 3 pt shooting is on display in the 3 videos at his aau club, Mn Magic Elite, website (mnmagicelite.com).
Should be an interesting September. |

Is he related to Don Aase, who was a Red Sox/Angels/Orioles pitcher from the '70s-'90?
How many Aases are there?
(Meaning that is a rare name.)
Don Aase is 4th in the Baseball Encyclopedia, after Dave Aardsma, Hank Aaron, and Tommie Aaron. |

New name
| Quote: | Jason Todd (Jackson HS, Mill Creek) 2014, 6-foot-6, 200 pounds
He does not have the same athleticism as former UW-stand out Jon Brockman, but their games are similar. Todd plays every possession hard. He always makes the extra pass, he is a vocal leader on the court, and he is an aggressive rebounder. He needs to work on his ballhandling, but just about every other aspect of his game is fundamentally sound. Boise State, Davidson, Portland State, Portland and Santa Clara are recruiting Todd. |
