| I'd say he's looking more at size, where Davidson is definitely "odd man out." |

I don't think so as Cal and Stanford are pretty big. _________________ "A lot of people are going to be like Lunardi and pick Elon to win the Southern next season. They'll assume that Davidson will be down after losing 4 seniors. They'll be wrong." |

| As are Harvard, Richmond, K State, NC State, Miami, Nebraska, PSU and USC. I don't see anyone there under multiple thousands besides Davidson. |

K State's interest (Bruce Weber) suggests Singer is a hard-nosed player who isn't afraid of floor burns. _________________ Curry responds, "You know what's cooler than a million 3-pointers? A billion 3-pointers."

| Sounds to me like a young man who has smarts but is also attracted to the notion of playing big-time basketball. Understandable. I am not sure size is necessarily a key issue with him. As I understand he is a big-time recruit for us, I hope, as he sorts through these issues, that he will value the opportunity to be a central player at DC while playing against top competition, having an opportunity to annually win a conference title, and receiving one of the nation's top educations. What a great combination! |

Singer and Sullivan can start a variety show.... _________________ "A lot of people are going to be like Lunardi and pick Elon to win the Southern next season. They'll assume that Davidson will be down after losing 4 seniors. They'll be wrong." |

I'd guess that's it. Clearly hasn't decided what is more important. I'd take a great education with a good basketball program.

We are clearly a better basketball team than any of those other teams according to 2011-2012 results:
Davidson def. Penn def. Harvard
Davidson def. Kansas def. U-C-L-A def. Stanford
Davidson def. Kansas def. Missouri def. California
Davidson def. Richmond
Davidson def. Kansas def. Georgetown def. Memphis def. Miami-Florida
Davidson def. Kansas def. Kansas State
Davidson def. Coll of Charleston def. Clemson def. NC State
Davidson def. Kansas def. U-S-C
Davidson def. Penn def. Lafayette def. Penn State
Davidson def. Kansas def. Ohio State def. Nebraska

| Fascinatingly simple and convincing post by "Acorn" -- a scoring roadmap of sorts that points to Davidson at every juncture. Let's hope this recruit (and others as well) has the same 20/20 vision when it comes to making his choice! |

| Update on Davidson PG target Jack Gibbs, who tore his ACL early in his junior season. |

| Twitter comment (Ryan James) that Connor Voss, 6'11" center from St. Cloud, Mn received an offer from Davidson on July 26th; Yahoo Sports shows offer and indicates he has a visit scheduled for 9/22. |

I like the fact that his visit to Davidson is the last of the three he has scheduled. That sort of timing has seemed to work well for us in the past. _________________ "There were giants in the earth in those days" |
