Curry was pulled out of the San Antonio game tonight with only 11 minutes played due to an ankle injury. He was helped of the court without being able to put any pressure on the ankle. I was wandering if anyone had any other news? Seeing that this is not a Davidson injury, I figured it was not barred from discussion. _________________ Go Wildcats!!! Go Yankees!!! |

| It is his right ankle. I think his left was the one that bothered him earlier this year. The replay didn't look as bad as I remember the last one looking. Plus he was able to keep his dribble alive and call time out. I don't know if that means much, but at least he didn't immediately go down in pain. |

Scoreless. Must've been Patsos. _________________ “He was like Fred Astaire,” Gervin said. “He was dancing and twirling around, gliding across the floor. We ain’t seen that in a while.” |

It'd be a nice time for a little surgery. Just in time to enroll for the second semester.... _________________ “He was like Fred Astaire,” Gervin said. “He was dancing and twirling around, gliding across the floor. We ain’t seen that in a while.” |

If (big "if") necessary, I would think the team-sponsored rehab would be in the Bay area. Of course there'd be lots of time for online course work... _________________ Curry responds, "You know what's cooler than a million 3-pointers? A billion 3-pointers."

| There'll be a lockout next year. Seems like the perfect opportunity. |

The Wildcats could have a really good student assistant working with the point guards next Fall. _________________ "Just play like you know how to play. That's why you're here." De'Mon Brooks |

I'm starting to get concerned at the frequency with which Steph is suffering these ankle injuries. I'm wondering if a different shoe might help--something with a little more stability, perhaps? _________________ "Turn on the game, Steph Curry is heating up" is the most exciting sports-related text you can send or receive right now. I couldn't really tell, but in their game against the Mavs on NBA TV (the game before the Spurs) it didn't seem like he had much of an ankle brace on.
They say this is his 7th ankle spain, I hope he gets some time off and gets back to building a great career _________________ "Layup is... BLOCKED!! Was that Cochran or Cohen that blocked that shot?"

At some point, the wheels get so loose you can turn 'em over and they hurt like hell for about 10 minutes, and then you're back doing what you did before. Personal experience. _________________ "There ain't no sanity clause!" Chico Marx |

| Yep. I've had the same thing. I roll my ankle every third time I play basketball. Each time it's less painful but seems to be almost unavoidable now. That isn't necessarily a positive for Steph in any way though. Rest and/or surgery doesn't repair this. The ligaments are just so loose now that it rolls easily. If you saw video of this latest one, he wasn't even trying to do anything fancy. |

Actually, surgery can repair it. Dr. Glenn Perry did my right ankle. He does amazing work and has been the team physician for several college and pro teams. I hope Steph's ankle doesn't reach the point that he needs surgery. _________________ “He was like Fred Astaire,” Gervin said. “He was dancing and twirling around, gliding across the floor.
