This guy has it about right:

BTW, The last game against the Bulls was Steph's best all around game as a pro IMO:
23 pts, 8 assists, 6 rbs, 2 TOs.
But the best was:
1. No bad fouls.
2. No bad passes. The 2 TOs came on a loss of footing (which looked like a trip to me) and a forced TO by good Bulls' defense.
3. Excellent defense. Steph and Monta alternated on Rose and both did an excellent job. Rose was held to 14 points (6 for 15 FGs) and forced into 9 TOs.
4. Clutch offense and defense in the 4th qtr when the game was on the line. |

Steph did a good job. Dare I suggest it was due to Acie Law being hurt, and thus no fear of being yanked for doing something stupid?
I loved the Bulls game---it was great to see the Warriors play well and execute well and beat a good team. Unfortunately, the excitement over it also made me feel bad, because of how much of an anomaly this win was in the grand scheme of things. Before this game, the warriors have 6 wins over teams above .500, 5 at home (Grizzlies, NY Knicks, Utah x 2, Portland) and one on the road (New Orleans). Only New Orleans and Chicago are over .600. I'll have to reserve the bulk of my enthusiasm for when the Bulls win isn't something that happens 3 times a season, at most. _________________ www.austinbell.tv |
