It's tough to compare players from different eras, Oscar. There is a lot about 2016 that would make Preston Brooks reach for the beating stick.

I've often wished for the same for both parties. Then we could get about watering the Liberty Tree. Mentions of Republican and Democrat Conventions definitely belong in this thread.

Not sure if you are talking about Preston Brooks or Donald Trump from back in the not-too-distant past when The Donald was a Dem. If you're referring to me, I'm registered as unaffiliated, so I can take pot shots at either party with a clear conscience.
