Young man from Iceland visiting schools in coming weeks, including one unspecified school in North Carolina, but does not appear to have made a decision and considering multiple options.
uhhh, is this not as done as we thought it was?

Maybe he didn't want to turn down a trip to Hawaii, can't blame him. Maybe he got fed up with admissions. Can't blame him there, either.

If admissions really has been the hold up at this point thats just incomprehensible to me. Its the end of June, if they have all the material and information needed in the application make a decision one way or the other. Its not fair to the player to keep him waiting in limbo this late into the process.

We could use a select alumni committee to make quick admission decisions on some of these kids. Send us some tape and, I suppose a transcript, and we'll make a decision in an afternoon.

We don’t have enough information to consider what is going on. One possibility is that the committee granted him admission on the condition he passes the English proficiency test. Maybe the trip to NC is to see about passing something or removing some road block. And then he might get a better offer along the way, or at least keep some contingency plans alive.

Another possibility is that people in admissions take vacations in summer...

Maybe we should be patient and all will be revealed.

We don't need no stinkin' transcript!

Looks like someone deserves a spot on the select committee.
