I played against a player in high school who had the same hair cut. Tough kid but pasty white with a red fro. The kid could hoop and the hair gave him the illusion of being 3 inches taller. Looked like a zombie.wildforthecats wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2020 11:46 amHair award certainly goes to Emory.85Wildcatsky wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2020 11:35 amMy early vote based on the scientific evaluations of 30 seconds of game video is Lanier. He looks to be the quickest of the bunch, shows some very good passing skills, big defensive wingspan, and solid fundamental jumper. He also goes above the rim in a game situation. The key with the newbies is whether they can handle full court pressure or not.
I wish them all the best of luck.

Most announced transfers already have an ascribed list of teams in pursuit. I assume ACC opportunities are limited bc of transfer restrictions? Does anyone have a sense as to where he might end up or if he would make sense to pursue (we have one roster spot available).
But that's what they do. That's who they are."You shouldn't say that. ... In the middle of the first half and an ACC game, this isn't some cutesy little thing," he said.

Last night Grant Huffman had 16 (including these two: https://mobile.twitter.com/mgoul/status ... 0494939137) in helping get his #1 team to a road win against the #3 team in Cleveland.

What is this "slam" thing they keep referring to in the article? A particularly difficult 3 pointer?

That link I posted has a video imbedded. It seems that we might dunk a bit more often in the next several years.

He looks good. Very slow release on the outside shot though. Won't get away with that in D1.Acorn wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 3:17 pmHuffman feature:

Emory Lanier with 18 points in two out his team’s last three games (all wins—they’re very good).
Grant Huffman’s team won last night too.

LuHi is playing Sierra Canyon tonight. I really like Sierra Canyon's enormous center. Yu Jia-Hao is 7'3, 300 lbs (looks heavier). Also listed as Harold Yu. Kid from China. Cal (school, not coach) has offered.VampireBob wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 12:48 pmhttps://twitter.com/Andrew__Slater/stat ... 5378914307ESPN Top 25 @LuHiBasketball vs @holycrosshsny
