I can't believe that was 22 years ago. I can still hear it.wildforthecats wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 3:26 pm6-5 forward Emeka Erege took quite a spill 22 years ago today vs Western Carolina.

It was a memorable sound. Most memorable to me is the look on Ali Ton's face when his sees the injury.

His leg appeared to have 2 knees.

This weekend Grant Huffman had 23 and 21 points in two wins for his team (ranked #1 in Cleveland).

With Jon Axel graduating, Grant will get an opportunity for lots of minutes next season.
Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
Since JAG who been the main point guard for the past two seasons, it will be interesting to see who takes over that role next season. Carter could, in theory, since he is listed as PG by verbal commits. DCZ could, but I don't remember him filling that role in his limited minutes last season. Emory Lanier, who is also listed as a PG, also could. Kellen could as well, particularly if he wants to improve his draft stock.wildforthecats wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2020 6:46 amWith Jon Axel graduating, Grant will get an opportunity for lots of minutes next season.

It will be by committee as usual most likely: Kellan, Grant, Carter. DCZ is strictly a #2 IMO.JoMo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2020 9:09 amSince JAG who been the main point guard for the past two seasons, it will be interesting to see who takes over that role next season. My early vote based on the scientific evaluations of 30 seconds of game video is Lanier. He looks to be the quickest of the bunch, shows some very good passing skills, big defensive wingspan, and solid fundamental jumper. He also goes above the rim in a game situation. The key with the newbies is whether they can handle full court pressure or not.
I wish them all the best of luck.

I think carter will be the starter, but grant/dcz/emory will all get chances to backup the pg position off the bench.

I think Chris Ford used up all of his eligibility at Nova in the 70's. . .

That was a great Nova team. Howard Porter was Karl Malone before there was a Karl Malone
