Re: Steph update

Definitely looked more like himself. He is definitely a rhythm shooter so I have cringed lately when he takes a pause and resets or takes a beat before shooting. It hasn't turned out well lately when he does that. Make the shot contested (or even impossible), and he's money. So good to see him retur...

10 straight for Dayton, 44-36 at 3:13 in 3rd.
I tuned in at halftime and am wondering whether I should turn it off. They seemed to be doing fine before I tuned in.

Re: Up next: at URI

I will say we're getting knocked around on defense a bit wirh no call. Gayle doesn't like the calls either.

Where is Deegan?

Deegan is out today.

They are making shots. We are not. Pretty simple. They are also really outworking us on the boards.

Re: Up next: Fordham

I love watching this team because they work so hard. But talk about a streaky team! We give up runs and make runs. I am glad to see the turnovers reduced tonight. Offensive flow and execution has been a real struggle. Feeding Ellie is probably the best plan. They (like wveryone else) struggle to con...

Re: Up next: VCU

VCU deserved the W last night. They shot the ball much better and made 12-12 FTs. I think you can take something positive away from the fact that we were even in the game late. I agree with this but don't understand how we can be so careless with the basketball. With SD, Sutphin, and others, we see...

Re: Up next: VCU

Unfortunate end to the 3rd quarter after some good defense earlier. We can't seem to quite turn the corner.

Go Cats!

Re: Roster Update

We look exceptionally good on paper. I excited to see how that translates to the court.

Re: Steph update

GSW did not come to play tonight. Sun's killing them in the 4th. Steph has a good night but he's the only one. He passed up a bunch of easy midrange jumpers in the lane in favor of a pass out to a teammate. I'm not sure that was ever rewarded with a made bucket.

Would love to see an updated recruiting page, if the powers that be (my way of hiding the fact that I have forgotten who is keeping up with it now) can find the time.

Will is 6-5, 194 and isn't noted for his vertical. There are rebounds on missed FTs he simply isn't physically capable of getting, hard work or not. If they elevate over him to grab a longer rebound and get the put back, all the hard work all game long isn't going to save the game. I've never seen ...
